I realize you probably know the Japanese terms, but just in case...
ANIME- Japanese animation, imported and translated usually, though you can get it in Japanese too.
MANGA- Japanese comics, like anime is imported and usually translated, but can also be found in Japanese.
YAOI- Japanese term for boy/boy sexual relationship. I will tag these things with ratings, so no worries.
SHONEN-AI- Japanese term, boy/boy "more than friends" relationship. (Not graphic or sexual though.)
YURI- Like yaoi, but girl/girl.
SHOJO-AI- Like shonen ai, but girl/girl.
HENTAI- Used in America as the term for Japanese porn usually, but really means "pervert".... I only use it's real meaning of "pervert" so don't worry.
I'm learning Romanji, or Japanese (spoken or) in roman letters. (Note-- good ol' American writing is roman lettering... I really hope you knew that, though...)
So if you want to know something, I can look it up for you in my handy pocket dictionary translator thing! (I feel so special.... kinda....)
